They’re in the Ministry of Magic. The great plan to find the horcux locket has evaporated. Ron is off to fix Yaxley’s raining office. Hermoine has been recruited by Umbridge herself to Mary Cattermole’s hearing and Harry has snuck into Umbridge’s office. Now, the trio have to use their ingenious and plucky courage to get the horcrux. As is typical, the chapter gives us a peak into the state of affairs in the wizarding world. It also shows us the threat the Weasleys are under from Umbridge.
Umbridge. Oh, Umbridge. She is one of those characters that make me think: What horrible teacher did Rowling have growing up? Umbridge is that perfect, white collar creepy villain. She loves her kittens and torturing small boys. Her patronus is a little cat and she has a death list in her drawer. Voldermort is a symbol for evil, but Umbridge is real. We meet Umbridges everday . . . maybe even in the mirror?
